Molly Ivins

I was so wrapped up with the events in my life that I missed the passing of one of the great ladies of our time, Molly Ivins. If you don't know who she was here is the link to the Free Press where I first read her articles. There is also more information about Molly at Wikipedia. A good friend of mine introduced me to her writing for a different take on the political scene.

Her writing will be very much missed by me. I loved the way she could put humor into the political landscape. I will always remember the "First Rule of Holes" that Molly wrote about in an article about Mr. Bush and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina blew threw. We can only hope that he might have read that article and may someday follow that rule.
